Stainless steel wire is widely use for lifting, fixing, cableway, hanging, supporting, refloatation, haulage, making kitchen utensils, steel balls, etc.
Stainless steel wire is a type of steel wire with corrosion resistance and is usually used in situations where corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and wear resistance are required. Its application scenarios include but are not limited to:
- Chemical industry: used to make corrosion-resistant parts such as chemical equipment, pipes, valves, etc.
- Food processing industry: used to make food processing equipment, food conveyor belts, food containers, etc. because it will not cause contamination to food.
- Medical equipment: used to make medical equipment, surgical instruments, surgical operating tables, etc. because of its anti-corrosion and easy-to-clean properties.
- Marine engineering: used to make marine engineering equipment, seawater treatment equipment, ship parts, etc. due to its resistance to seawater corrosion.
- Architectural decoration: used to make indoor and outdoor decorative materials, stair handrails, railings, etc. because of its beautiful appearance and corrosion resistance.
In general, stainless steel wire is widely used in chemical industry, food processing, medical equipment, marine engineering, architectural decoration and other fields.

Process of production
The production process of martensitic stainless steel is as follows: hot rolling roil - annealing - alkali immersion - rinsing - pickling - coating - wire drawing - decoating - finished product inspection - packaging
Austenitic stainless steel wire production process: hot rolling coil - solution treatment - alkali immersion - rinsing - pickling - coating - wire drawing - decoating - neutralization - finished product inspection - packaging
The production process of stainless steel wire usually includes the following steps:
Raw material preparation: Choose high-quality stainless steel blanks as raw materials, usually 304, 316 and other stainless steel materials.
Smelting: Put the stainless steel billet into the smelting furnace for high-temperature smelting to turn it into liquid steel.
Continuous casting: The molten stainless steel molten steel is continuously cast into square billets or round billets through a continuous casting machine.
Hot rolling: The continuously cast square billet or round billet is heated and rolled through a hot rolling mill to turn it into stainless steel wire.
Pickling: Pickling the hot-rolled stainless steel wire to remove surface oxide scale and impurities and improve surface finish.
Wire drawing: The pickled stainless steel wire is drawn through a wire drawing machine to make it into stainless steel wire that meets the specifications.
Surface treatment: Surface treatment is performed on the drawn stainless steel wire, including polishing, pickling, electroplating, etc., to meet different application requirements.
Packaging: Pack the finished stainless steel wire and mark product specifications, quality and other information for easy transportation and use.
The above is the general production process of stainless steel wire. Different manufacturers and processes may differ.
The packaging method of stainless steel wire is usually determined according to the specifications, uses and customer needs of the stainless steel wire. Common packaging methods include:
Carton packaging: Put the stainless steel wire into a carton according to a certain weight or length, and then seal the box. It is suitable for the sale and transportation of small batches of stainless steel wire.
Naked installation: The stainless steel wire is directly bundled or curled to be installed naked. It is suitable for some stainless steel wires with special specifications or special purposes. It is usually used for the sale and transportation of large quantities of stainless steel wire.
Pallet packaging: The stainless steel wires are bundled and placed on wooden or plastic pallets, and then packaged with packaging film. It is suitable for transportation and storage of large quantities of stainless steel wires.
Winding packaging: Winding and packaging stainless steel wire in the form of coils or reels, suitable for stainless steel wires that need to be used quickly, such as welding wires, etc.
Customized packaging: Customized packaging according to the special needs of customers, such as packaging boxes made of special materials, moisture-proof packaging, etc.
The above are common packaging methods for stainless steel wire. The specific packaging method will also be affected by transportation methods, storage conditions and customer requirements.
Transportation: Express (Sample Delivery), Air, Rail, Land, Sea shipping (FCL or LCL or Bulk)
