Raw Material Preparation
According to the product performance, select suitable aluminum alloy ingots, such as 6061, 6063 and other common grades, which have good processing and mechanical properties. In addition to aluminum ingots, elements such as magnesium, silicon, and copper need to be added to accurately adjust the alloy composition to meet the specific needs of the product.
Smelting
Put the selected aluminum ingots and ingredients into the furnace, heat to 700-750℃ for melting, and stir continuously during the period to ensure uniform composition. The molten aluminum alloy liquid contains impurities and gases. Refining agents are used to remove hydrogen and oxide inclusions to improve purity and performance. After refining, the temperature is adjusted to the casting range of 680-730℃.
Casting
According to the shape and size of T-shaped aluminum profiles, high-temperature resistant alloy steel casting molds are made, and the cavity precision is high to ensure that the profile size and shape meet the standards. The temperature-adjusted aluminum alloy liquid is slowly poured into the mold, and it is filled with gravity or pressure to fill the cavity, and cooled and solidified into an aluminum profile blank.
Extrusion
The cast blank is heated to 400-500℃ to make it thermoplastic and easy to extrude. The heated blank is placed in the extrusion barrel of the extruder, and the aluminum alloy is extruded from the die hole of the mold to form a T-shaped profile by applying pressure through the extrusion rod. The speed, pressure and temperature are strictly controlled during extrusion to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
Surface Treatment
In order to enhance corrosion resistance and wear resistance, aluminum profiles are often anodized, so that they are electrolyzed in a specific electrolyte to form a hard and dense oxide film with a thickness of 10-25 microns on the surface. It can also be painted or sprayed according to customer needs to add color and texture, improve weather resistance and decorativeness.
Deep Processing
According to actual use, the aluminum profile is cut to the required length with a cutting equipment, and the accuracy is controlled within ±0.5 mm. If it is necessary to install connectors or assemble, drilling and tapping are performed to provide mounting holes and threaded connections. It can also be bent and stamped according to design requirements to shape specific shapes and structures.
Inspection and Packaging
A comprehensive quality inspection of aluminum profiles covers dimensional accuracy, surface quality, mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, etc. Products that meet standards and customer requirements are packaged in plastic film, paper or wooden boxes to prevent damage during transportation and storage. After packaging, they can be stored or shipped.
Packaging is generally naked, steel wire binding, very strong.
If you have special requirements, you can use rust proof packaging, and more beautiful.
